Privacy Policy

Effective and last updated November 2, 2026.

This policy explains what the deltaPlus™ SAT® app, this website, and our bootcamps collect, why, who else handles it, how long we keep it, and how you can see or delete it.

1. Who we are

deltaPlus Learning LLC (“deltaPlus,” “we”) is a Massachusetts company. We make the deltaPlus SAT app for iPhone, run this website, and teach SAT bootcamps online. Questions about privacy go to support@deltapluslearning.com, or by mail to deltaPlus Learning LLC, 82 Wendell Ave, Suite 100, Pittsfield, MA 01201.

2. The short version

  • Your account keeps what the app needs to work for you: your email, a username, your birth year, your progress, your results, question by question, and a parent’s email if you add one.
  • You can make the same account on this website, for a free analysis of a practice test or to use the whole app in your browser. It is the account the app opens.
  • We don’t sell your information, we don’t show ads, and we don’t track you across other apps or websites. The app contains no advertising code, and on iPhone no analytics code. In a browser, the app is a page of this website, whose visits Cloudflare counts (section 9).
  • Apple handles every purchase in the app, and Stripe a plan and the practice-test analyses bought on this website. We never see your card.
  • You can delete your account in the app at any time.
  • The app is for students 13 and older.

3. What your account keeps

Your account is stored for us by Google Firebase, in the United States. It holds:

  • Your account details: your email address, your username, the picture you chose, the year you were born, and when you joined. When you last changed your username, it keeps when, and the time zone your phone or computer was set to, so that the once-a-day limit follows your own midnight. Your picture can change any time. A record of when it last changed, kept by earlier versions of the app, is cleared the next time you change it.
  • How many questions you’ve answered right with each picture: one count for each animal you’ve had as your picture, so that the animal evolves once its count reaches that animal’s own number, from 60 to 150.
  • A parent email, if you add one at sign-up or in Settings: a second address, such as a parent’s. It receives a notice when an erase is scheduled, a copy of your performance data before it is erased or your account is deleted (section 12), and, once that address confirms it by the link we email, a weekly progress update: practice days, questions answered and how many were right, each section’s pace against the SAT’s, practice-test scores, where the misses were and the kinds of question behind them, the week’s standout, a question type answered both more right and faster than before, and the next SAT you planned with whether a practice test is due; and, once confirmed, each practice-test report as a PDF the day it is graded (section 5). The parent can stop them with the link in each email, and you can by removing the address.
  • Your parent email’s progress updates: whether the address confirmed them and when, when we asked, whether it turned them off, and the last week one was sent. If a parent email turns them off, we keep a one-way code made from it, never the address, so it isn’t asked again.
  • Which practice-test reports were emailed, and when, to you and to your parent email, so no report is emailed twice. Only our account service writes this list.
  • When copies of your data and erase notices were emailed in the last day, so each is limited to three a day. Only our account service writes this list, and it holds no email address.
  • An erase you asked for: when you asked to erase your performance data, the day it will run, and when it last ran.
  • Your plan: whether you have the Premium Plan (or the Plus Plan, from the presale), the free day of the workbooks, or a free week of the Premium Plan, and when it ends.
  • Your bootcamp group, if you’re in a bootcamp, so the app’s calendar shows your group’s sessions. We add it; you can’t change it in the app.
  • Your progress in each workbook: your checkpoint and final-test scores, your best scores, how many tries you have taken, when, and the time zone your phone or computer was set to, so that the one-a-day limits follow your own midnight. It also keeps which workbook you opened last, so the workbook map shows the picture you chose where you left off.
  • Your results, question by question, for every practice test, daily exercise, Question of the Day, targeted practice set, quiz, checkpoint, and final test you finish: the answer you chose, whether it was right, how long you spent, whether you answered within the time allowed, what kind of question it was, the kind of mistake each wrong answer stood for, the words of the choices of a Words in Context question the app gave you and you missed, and the extended-time setting you chose, if any. For a practice test it also keeps the section scores you entered and the date you took the test.
  • Your SAT dates: the test dates you mark, any scores you add to them, and your registration-reminder settings.
  • Which trend notices the app has already shown you, so it doesn’t repeat them.
  • Your vocabulary list: the words you add to My Vocabulary yourself, with when you added them, and the words you marked “Not an issue.” The words of the questions you missed come from your results, above, and aren’t kept a second time. A definition you look up opens in your iPhone’s own dictionary and is never sent to us; in a browser, it opens on Merriam-Webster’s website, which receives the word. Once a week we gather the words students have added, with nothing that says who added them, and have each real word read aloud once by ElevenLabs, so a later version of the app can say it for everyone.
  • The reading passages and grammar questions you’ve finished, so you aren’t given the same one twice. Only our grading service writes this list.
  • The practice questions each practice-test report gave you, so the report shows the same ones whenever you open it and a later report doesn’t repeat them. Only our grading service writes this list.
  • Your purchases: when you buy a plan or a practice test, Apple confirms the purchase to us, and we keep a record of what you bought, when, and when it ends; for a plan that renews, whether it’s set to renew and at what price; and which renewal reminders we’ve emailed you. We never receive your card number or your Apple Account details. When you buy a plan on this website, Stripe tells us of the purchase and the email you gave at checkout, which we use only to find the deltaPlus account it is for; we keep a record of the purchase and its account, not the email. We never see your card. When you buy a practice-test analysis on this website, Stripe confirms to us that the checkout was paid and for how many analyses, and we keep the checkout’s ID with the account it was put on; your email and card stay with Stripe, which emails you the receipt, and we look the email up there only if you write to us about a payment.
  • Your practice test analyses: which official practice tests you’ve unlocked, and how; whether you’ve used your free analysis; on the Plus Plan, the month you last used its analysis; when each official practice test was last analyzed, since each can be analyzed once a week; and how many analyses bought on this website are waiting on your account. To keep the free analysis to one per person, we keep a one-way code made from your email address, never the address itself.
  • Your referral code and its referrals: which accounts entered your code and bought a plan, the credit they gave you, and, if you entered someone’s code, which account it belongs to. We keep these by account ID only. You see how many friends have counted, never who they are.

We use what your account holds to run the app for you and to improve it, for example to find questions that are harder than they should be. We email you about your account, such as a reminder before a plan renews, and when you write to us.

If you email us to ask for a good-luck card before your test, or for a 100+ Club shirt, we use the mailing address you send only to mail it, and delete it once it’s mailed.

If you send us your words about the app or a bootcamp, we share them only after a yes on our quote permission form, which a parent or guardian fills in for a student under 18. Google Forms and Google Sheets keep the form for us, and we keep it while we use the words and for three years after.

4. What stays on your phone or in your browser

Your settings (appearance, text size, sounds, and reminders), copies of your recent results so they open quickly, any work you haven’t finished, and, on the Premium Plan, up to three daily exercises saved for use without a connection. Deleting the app deletes all of it from the phone. In a browser, the app keeps your settings, copies of your recent results, and any work you haven’t finished in the browser’s own storage, with a saved copy of your account’s records for use without a connection, kept under your account after you sign out, as on a phone. It doesn’t keep daily exercises for use without a connection. Clearing this website’s data in your browser deletes all of it.

5. What the app sends, and what our servers keep

  • Grading. When you grade a practice test or an exercise, the app, or the free analysis page on this website, sends your answers to our grading service, which runs on Google Cloud. The service works out your results, sends them back, and keeps nothing. The record of your results is the one in your account (section 3). Before an official practice test is graded, the app asks our purchase service whether that test is unlocked, sending a sign-in token and the test’s name, never your answers.
  • Practice questions. When the app asks our grading service for new practice questions, it sends which workbooks and parts they come from and the time setting you chose in Settings, so a question about pacing is at your own pace. The service uses them only to write the questions, and keeps nothing.
  • Score reports. If you import your College Board Score Details PDF, our service reads it to fill in your answers and scores, then discards it. Only what it filled in is saved, in your account.
  • Reading and grammar exercises. So that you get passages you haven’t seen, the app sends a sign-in token with these requests. It tells our service which account is asking, never your email or your name.
  • A report’s practice questions. To pick the practice questions at the end of a practice-test report, the app sends a sign-in token, the test and when it was graded, how many questions you missed in each section, which kinds of question they were, and how many of them the report’s priorities cover and in what order of importance, never your answers or your scores. The service keeps which questions it gave you (section 3).
  • A report emailed to you. Once a practice-test report has its practice questions, the app builds the report as a PDF on your phone or in your browser and sends it, with a sign-in token, the test’s name, when it was graded, and any scores you typed in, to our account service, which emails it to your email address once you’ve verified it and, if a parent email has confirmed progress updates, to that address, then discards the file. The copy in our sent mail is kept as section 12 says.
  • Server logs. Our servers record basic details of each request, such as internet (IP) addresses and times, to keep the service running and secure. We delete them after about 30 days.
  • What the app never collects: your phone number, your contacts, your photos, your location, or any advertising identifier.

6. Notifications

Every notification is scheduled on your phone; none is sent from our servers. They are a daily practice reminder, only if you turn it on (Settings > Notifications > Daily practice reminder), reminders before each official SAT’s registration deadlines, and one reminder when you haven’t opened the app in three days. You can turn any of them off in your iPhone’s Settings.

7. Bootcamps

When you register for a bootcamp, you pay on Stripe’s checkout page, and we receive the name and email of the person paying, the student’s name, and your answers to the registration questions. We use them to run the bootcamp: the Google Meet invitations, the student’s Premium Plan and bootcamp group in the app, and our records of who is enrolled. Payment records are kept as long as tax law requires.

After you pay, our intake form asks for the parent’s or guardian’s name, email, and mobile number (used only for a same-day change); the student’s name, email, grade, and school; the student’s SAT registration, scores so far, and target score; any testing accommodations; and anything else you’d like us to know. We use it to run the bootcamp and to set the student’s targets. Google Forms and Google Sheets keep it for us, and we delete it a year after the group’s last session.

After the SAT, an optional survey asks for the student’s name and group, the scores if you choose to share them, and what you thought of the bootcamp. We use it to improve the bootcamps and to measure how students do. Google Forms and Google Sheets keep it for us, and we delete it five years after the group’s last session.

8. Testing the app before release

When you sign up to test the app, our sign-up form asks for the student’s first name; an email (the student’s own, or a parent’s or guardian’s); the student’s grade, next SAT, and most recent score; and your answers to its other questions. Google Forms and Google Sheets keep them for us. We use them to write to you about the test. After the test, a short survey asks the student what they thought of the app; it collects no email, and a first name and grade only if the student offers them.

While the student tests, Apple’s TestFlight shows us which test versions were installed, the iPhone’s model and iOS version, any feedback, screenshots, and crash reports sent through it, and, for anyone we invite by email, that email.

Within 90 days after the test ends, we delete the sign-up answers. If we use your quote, we keep your name, your email, and your answer about quotes for as long as the quote is in use.

9. This website

This website uses no cookies. It remembers your light or dark choice in your own browser. Cloudflare, which delivers the site, keeps standard request logs and counts visits with its Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn’t follow you to other websites: it notes the page, the site that sent you there, your browser, device type, and operating system, and your country.

Its free analysis page is the app’s grading screens running in your browser. It uses the same account as the app (section 3) and grades the same way (section 5), and it keeps your sign-in, your settings, and any answers you haven’t finished in your browser’s own storage, as the app keeps them on your phone (section 4).

At deltapluslearning.com/app/SAT, the app runs in your browser. It uses the same account as the app on iPhone (section 3), sends what the app sends (section 5), and keeps what section 4 says in your browser’s own storage.

When you book a consultation, Google Calendar’s booking page asks your name, your email, how you’d like to meet (Google Meet or a phone call), and, if you choose a call, your phone number. We use them only to hold the consultation, and the booking stays in our calendar.

When you write to us from the For Parents page, the subject, your words, and your email go to our inquiry service on Google Cloud, which emails them to info@deltapluslearning.com and keeps nothing; the email stays in our mailbox until you ask us to delete it. If you dictate your words, your browser’s own speech recognition transcribes them, which may send the audio to the browser’s maker; nothing of it reaches us but the words.

10. Who else handles your information

  • Google (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Cloud Run) stores your account and runs our grading service. Google Workspace carries our email and keeps consultation bookings in Google Calendar, and Google Forms and Google Sheets keep preview sign-ups, bootcamp intake forms and surveys, and quote permissions.
  • Apple processes every purchase in the app and runs TestFlight, under Apple’s own privacy policy.
  • Cloudflare delivers this website and counts its visits.
  • ElevenLabs reads aloud the words students add to My Vocabulary. It receives only those words, never an account or a name.
  • Stripe processes bootcamp payments, plans, and the practice-test analyses bought on this website. If you choose Klarna at Stripe’s checkout, Klarna handles that payment under its own terms.

Each handles your information only to provide its service to us, under terms that protect it at least as well as this policy does. We don’t sell your information, and we don’t share it for advertising.

11. Children

The deltaPlus SAT app is for students 13 and older. It asks for your birth year when you sign up, as this website’s free analysis page does, and neither creates an account for anyone under 13. If you’re a parent and believe a child under 13 has an account, write to support@deltapluslearning.com and we’ll delete it and tell you when we have.

12. How long we keep things, and how to delete them

  • Your account and everything in it stays until you delete it.
  • Delete my account (Settings > My Account > Delete my account) deletes your account, your progress, and your results. Just before, a copy of your performance data (your results and your workbook progress) is emailed to you once you’ve verified your email address, to your parent email if you added one, and to us. Eight things stay, none carrying your email or your name once the account is gone: the list of reading passages and grammar questions you finished, the list of practice questions your reports gave you, the record of which practice-test reports were emailed and when, the times of the last day’s data copies and erase notices, the record of what you bought through Apple or on this website and which tests you unlocked, the one-way code that keeps the free analysis to one per person (section 3), the referral records, with your code retired so it is never given to anyone else, and, if your parent email turned progress updates off, the one-way code that keeps it from being asked again.
  • Erase My Performance Data (Settings > My Account > Data & Privacy) erases your results and your workbook progress, and keeps your account, with how many questions you’ve answered right with each picture (section 3). It asks for your password and a parent email, waits seven days, and can be undone in the app until then. When it runs, a copy of everything it erases is emailed to you once you’ve verified your email address, to your parent email, and to us, and offered to save on your phone or computer.
  • The copies we keep of erased or deleted performance data stay until you or your parent ask us to delete them.
  • Copies of the progress updates and practice-test reports we send stay in our sent mail until you or your parent ask us to delete them.
  • Server logs are deleted after about 30 days.
  • Bootcamp payment records are kept as long as tax law requires.
  • Bootcamp intake forms are deleted a year after the group’s last session.
  • Bootcamp surveys are deleted five years after the group’s last session.
  • Preview sign-ups are deleted as in section 8.
  • Quote permissions are kept as in section 3.

Deleting your account doesn’t cancel a plan you bought through Apple. Cancel it in your iPhone’s Settings, under your name, in Subscriptions, or Apple will keep billing you. Nor does it cancel a plan bought on this website: cancel that at the Manage my plan link on our plans page, or Stripe will keep billing you.

13. Your choices and your rights

  • A copy of your information. On the Premium Plan, “Share my record” (in a browser, “Download my record”) exports your results. Anyone can also email us for a copy of everything their account holds, and we’ll send it within 30 days, free.
  • Corrections. You can change your username and picture in the app; for anything else, write to us.
  • Deletion, as in section 12, or by writing to us.

Some states, such as California, give their residents rights to know, correct, and delete their information and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We don’t sell or share it, and anyone, wherever they live, can use the rights in this section by writing to support@deltapluslearning.com. We won’t charge you or treat you differently for asking.

14. Security

Information travels between the app and our services encrypted. Your password is stored by Google in a form no one, including us, can read. Access to our systems is limited to deltaPlus. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your information, we’ll tell you as the law requires.

15. Links to other places

The app and this site link to College Board, Apple, Desmos, and others. Their own privacy policies apply there.

16. Changes to this policy

When the way we handle information changes, we update this page and its date. If the change is significant, we’ll also say so in the app before it takes effect.
