The deltaPlus SAT app

Take an official practice test in Bluebook, then enter the answers here, free, or in the deltaPlus SAT app. It shows where the points were lost, ranks the top three priorities, and builds daily practice around them. The app is coming this November.

The SAT in school

Many schools give the SAT on a weekday, in class. The school registers you; ask your counselor which window.

What is actually on the SAT

The official SAT. Reading & Writing: 54 questions in 64 minutes. Math: 44 questions in 70 minutes. College Board divides each into four domains:

Reading & Writing Information and Ideas · Craft and Structure · Expression of Ideas · Standard English Conventions Math Algebra · Advanced Math · Problem-Solving and Data Analysis · Geometry and Trigonometry

How we sort it. Five domains of our own, and the workbooks inside them, ranked by how often the SAT tests each.

Showing all five domains.

Tap a workbook to see what it teaches.

In Reading & Writing, each question almost always tests one thing. In Math, most questions draw on several.

This map shows content only. Every workbook teaches it through our approach and strategies, and seeing the test through those two lenses is often just as helpful, or more helpful.

How long does it take to get started?

An official practice test in Bluebook takes 2 hours 14 minutes, plus a 10-minute break. Entering the answers takes a few minutes, and the analysis is ready right away.

Can I add a test I already took?

Yes. In the app, import the Score Details PDF from College Board, and every answer is read for you.

How much time do I need?

Most students work a few hours a week for two to four months. A bootcamp is eight weeks.

What if my SAT date changes?

Change your SAT dates in the app any time, in My Profile.

What do I need?

An iPhone for the app. Practice tests run in Bluebook on a laptop or tablet, and answers can be entered here in any browser.
